How to properly maintain excavators in winter

1. Working Device butter

If the butter is not right, it is easy to damage the spray gun. But butter is a daily thing. Because of the low temperature, you can't beat the hand.

2. Discharge of cooling water

Idle operation before quenching, when the cooling water temperature drops below 60°C, it is not hot, and then the flame is released. When water is released, the remaining water in the body should be completely discharged to prevent the water from inflating and causing the body to burst.

3. Water Tank Maintenance

The radiator of the water tank should be carefully checked for aging. If there are any problems, they must be dealt with in a timely manner. Especially in winter, problems are more likely to occur. Check and add antifreeze. If there is no antifreeze, some antifreeze will evaporate in the engine. If there is a lack of antifreeze for a long time, there is an unusually hot chance. Antifreeze should be added to the centerline of the auxiliary tank.(Must be added in winter, antifreeze, not water, especially in the north, once frozen, resulting in engine damage)Thermostats play an important role in the heating of diesel engines.

4, Fire booster launcher

Do not remove the air filter, light the cotton yarn with diesel, put the ignition material into the trachea, and then start burning. In this way, during the start-up process, the external dusty air is directly inhaled into the cylinder without being filtered, resulting in abnormal wear of the piston, cylinder, etc., the diesel engine may be rough and damage the machine.

5. Diesel Maintenance

Check that the diesel tank is full. If not, please fill it with diesel to avoid rust in the inner wall of the rusty diesel tank.

6. Battery Maintenance

When winter comes, outdoor temperatures are too low, resulting in reduced battery storage capacity. When installed, first connect the cathode wire, and then connect the cathode wire. This prevents a short circuit when the battery is removed.

7, Increase door lock safety

When a small excavator is parked outdoors, be sure to check and empty the valuables in the small excavator. If necessary, add some locks to prevent items from being stolen.

8. Bake an oil pan on an open fire

Open fire baking of oil sump may result in deterioration or even combustion of oil in the oil sump, reducing or completely losing lubrication performance, thus exacerbating machine wear.The maintenance of small excavators in winter requires diligent maintenance by users.
