How to replace the front idler of excavator
Method of replacing the front idler of excavator:
Remove the crawler track of the excavator first.
Remove a single valve in the butter nozzle area, release the butter inside, push the guide wheel in with a shovel, the looser the track is, the better. If the excavator is under 150, remove the track. If it is over 150, pull the track down with a shovel. Remember to remove the single valve, otherwise. It's not easy to dismantle the track, and even worse to install it.
Install the guide wheel.
The installation method of guide wheel is the same as that of general wheel. The excavator is supported by a jack, then the screw is unscrewed with a screwdriver. After disassembly, the new wheel is mounted and lubricated to complete the installation.
