The service life of the excavator track chain should be increased by at least three years!

The reason why the giant iron and steel excavator can be easily used in all kinds of dangerous construction environment is that the track plays a crucial role. The rock solid track can not only make the excavator walk without worry, but also protect the driver.
In the near future, many pilots ask for help. How to adjust the track appropriately according to different working conditions and different roads? How to measure the track tension quickly and accurately? This is a headache for many of you. Let's take Komatsu 200-7 as the standard to explain how to adjust the track.
Track tightness measurement
It is relatively easy to measure the track tightness. As long as you master the measurement methods and techniques, you can complete it quickly and accurately.
First, find a flat road surface, run the excavator at low idle speed, and make the excavator travel forward the length of the track shoes on the ground (the guide wheel is in front of the excavator), then slowly stop the excavator, do not stop suddenly, stop slowly.
Find an iron bar or a straight wooden bar (or select a suitable straight object from local materials) and put it on the track shoe between the guide wheel and a carrier roller, because it is not easy to measure the accuracy of the bent one.
Measure the large clearance between the iron bar or other reference and the track (the normal large standard clearance is 10-30mm).
Track adjustment:
Here, I'd like to remind you that the track of excavator has abnormal noise, wear or chain dropping directly, so the track must be adjusted at this time, and we must not make do with it!
Increase or decrease the tension by adding grease or releasing grease (grease). If the tension is still low after adding grease, it means that the track pin shaft and bushing are seriously worn. In this case, only new ones can be replaced to prevent the track from falling off.
Track tension under various working conditions
This problem is believed to be more concerned by many machine friends, because different tonnage excavators, in front of different working conditions, must use different standards of tension, so as to maximize the role and life of the track!
For hard and open road surface, such as cement hard road or municipal flat shoulder, the track should be adjusted and tightened properly, because once the track is too long or a little loose, it will increase the wear of roller.
For uneven road surface, such as gravel road, pothole Road, etc., the track shall be adjusted loose to reduce the wear strength.
If the excavator works in a soft environment for a long time, such as sand road and mud road, the track should be adjusted a little loose, because the track is often easy to absorb soil, and after the track is adjusted loose, the force area of the walking can be increased to prevent the excessive load of the walking motor caused by the sliding.
This is more important, that is, it is necessary to make the tension of the left and right crawlers of the excavator consistent, so as to prevent the serious impact of walking deviation on the excavator!
summary
Whether there is a problem with the two feet of the excavator - the track directly determines the working speed and efficiency of the excavator, so even the old driver should take the adjustment of the track as a required course of work!
Fortunately, the adjustment of the track is not as complicated as other faults of the excavator, and there is no way to start! As long as you are proficient in measurement skills and normal values, everything can be solved!
