The Difference Between The Heavy Wheels Of Sliding Bearings And Rolling Bearings

The support wheel is screwed under the wheel frame to support the quality of the machine and distributes the Mass on the crawler board. At the same time, it also relies on its roller flange clamping chain rail not to make the crawler transverse slip (derailment), to ensure that the machinery moves along the track direction ' has a small rolling resistance and the life of muddy and water operations. The support wheel can be divided into unilateral support wheel and bilateral support wheel according to structure.

Two types of sliding bearings and rolling bearings are used.

Roller bearing Support heavy wheel Excavators, milling machines, pavers and other mechanical support wheels carry the weight of the entire machine.

The design of the heavy wheel is unique, not only can easily carry the load of the machine during normal construction, but also can emit the heat generated by the continuous weight with all the components (bearings, seals, etc.). The service life of the crawler branch heavy wheel depends mainly on the weight of the machine.

Due to the relatively high working weight and fast walking speed of the Wirtgen machine, the existing models of Wirtgen are equipped with heavy wheels with roller bearings. A heavy wheel with a roller bearing can carry a higher load.

Sliding ring seals and bearings are fixed around with particularly rugged, high-value materials to minimize oil spill risk and improve service life.

Sliding bearing support heavy wheel Compared with the Wirtgen machine, the structure of the Fograd crawler unit is stronger and heavier. This requires a larger number of heavy wheels on both sides of the machine to carry the weight, so that each heavy wheel will bear a reduced load.

Therefore, the Fograd machine adopts sliding bearing support wheel. Poor quality sliding bearings can lead to long-distance high-speed operation of the heavy wheel damage. Oil leakage occurs at the damage, resulting in insufficient lubrication of the bearing, which eventually results in complete damage to the heavy wheel. If the lubricating oil in the heavy wheel is insufficient, the internal bearing cannot rotate around the shaft, causing the card to die or serious damage.
