The roller flange of the idler roller clamps the outer edge of the track chain rail joint to prevent the lateral shedding. The track is tightened by the tension buffer device connected with the wheel flange to alleviate the impact from the ground to the frame. The bulldozer idler assy is welded with steel plate or made with casting steel and its radial section is box-shaped. The idler roller is mounted on the shaft through the bimetal bushing in the rim hole, and the two ends of the shaft are fixed on the left and right brackets. The idler roller and the left and right brackets are sealed by floating oil seals, and the floating oil seals and O-rings are pressed by locking pins between the left and right brackets and the shafts. Lubricating oil is added into the idler roller cavity to ensure lubrication and heat dissipation of sliding bearings.

Attentions while assembling the rollers
1. Before assembling rollers,smooth the sharp part of sapre parts and do the deburring,clean the inner holes of the roller body and oil seal etc..
2. Do not break and scratch any part of the sealing parts.
3. Do not oil and distort the rubber floating seal ring during assembling the rollers.
4. A small amount of oil should be covered on the contacting surface while fitting the floating seal group.
5. After finishing the assembling process,fill clean extreme-pressure vehicle gear oil to take 80 percent of the inner cavity of roller body and do the running test then confirm no leakage after 4 hours.
