Bulldozer Bottom Roller D5B

The bottom roller is used to support the weight of excavators and bulldozers, so that the track moves along the wheel. Its main structure includes axle, wheel body, end cover, axle sleeve and sealing components. The axle consists of the wheel body installation section located in the middle and the end cover installation section located on both sides of the wheel body installation section. The wheel body is set on the wheel body installation section, and the axle sleeve is set between the wheel body and the wheel body installation section. The cover sleeve is arranged on the end cover installation section. Usually one end of the axle is connected with the oil supply source, and the other end is opened on the oil circuit outside the wheel body installation section. When working, the lubricant from the oil supply source is transferred to the axle sleeve through the oil circuit to lubricate the axle sleeve.

Bullozer bottom roller can be divided into rigidly connected bottom roller and elastically suspended bottom roller. The structure and characteristics of single-flanged and double-flanged track rollers and their arrangement sequence in bulldozer undercarriage are introduced respectively. Rigid connection supporting wheels have the characteristics of simple connection mode and are suitable for small and medium power bulldozers. The elastic suspension lower rollers are divided into K-type suspension and X-type suspension. Both kinds of elastic suspended supporting wheels can give full play to the role of all supporting wheels to improve traction and adhesion performance of bulldozers and ride comfort of drivers. K-type suspension has better adaptability to uneven ground than X-type suspension.

The lower rollers are filled with lubricating oil in order to meet their normal working needs and ensure their service life. This requires that the supporting wheels have good sealing performance, and oil leakage can not occur. Therefore, floating oil seals are usually installed on the supporting wheels, but when the internal cleanliness of the supporting wheels decreases and the internal lubricants are mixed with impurities, it will not only aggravate the relative wear of internal components, but also directly or indirectly lead to the damage of floating oil seals, and then develop into the ultimate failure of the supporting wheels due to oil leakage.
