Excavator failure analysis: What are the causes of crawler track assy damage

Crawler track assy is widely used in engineering machinery and equipment. It is a part of the walking device of crawler excavator. Because excavators are generally constructed in harsh environments, it is inevitable that crawler loosening, damage, fracture and other faults occur. What are the causes of crawler damage?   

 1. Driving on rough roads            

When excavators carry out earthwork, the working site is generally uneven. In such terrain conditions, the track excavator's walking route is not appropriate, the weight of the body will tend to be partial, and the local pressure will increase, which will cause some damage to the track and cause loosening problems.            

2. Improper turning            

When the excavator turns, one side of the track moves, the other side of the track does not move, there is a large rotational movement. If the track is blocked by the raised part of the ground, it will be stuck on the rotating side of the track, and the track is easy to be pulled.            

3. Walking for a long time            

Unlike automobiles, excavators can not drive too long on the road, so the driver needs to pay special attention to the fact that Crawler excavators can not walk too long, which will not only cause great damage to the crawler, but also affect the service life of the equipment. Therefore, the mobile walking of excavators must grasp a degree.            

4. Failure to clear debris in track assy in time            

When the crawler excavator is working or moving, some gravel or soil will enter the crawler. If it is removed in time before walking, the gravel will be squeezed between the driving wheel, the guiding wheel and the crawler as the interest rate belt rotates. Over time, the crawler of the excavator will be loosened and the chain track will be broken.            

5. Unreasonable parking of excavators            

Crawler excavator parking can not be ambiguous, must be parked in a flat place, if uneven, will cause uneven force on the excavator crawler track, one side of the track bears a larger weight, it is easy to cause stress concentration crawler is pulled or cracked.
