Six things a novice digger must know!

Whether it is a novice or an old driver who has been working for many years, we should make sufficient preparations before we start the work of the hydraulic excavator, so as to ensure the safety of operation and make the excavator use for a longer time. What needs to be done before digging? The following author summarizes six main points for you.

First of all, we should know the environment of our workplace to ensure safety. Carefully check the soil solidity of excavator parking work place. According to different work, it is necessary to observe the slope and wire height, underground cables, pipelines and surrounding obstacles in advance, to ensure the safety of work area, and then excavate excavator work.            

2. Before the excavator is operated, it is necessary to ensure the safety of the surrounding people. No unrelated personnel shall be detained in the excavator operating area, and no unrelated personnel shall be allowed to enter the cab, etc. Particular attention should be paid to the fact that no one should stand in the bucket, arm pole, crawler and shed after the engine is started, and safety should be put in the first place.           3. Daily inspection and maintenance before work can not be less, check whether excavator oil, coolant, hydraulic oil is sufficient, when insufficient, need to be filled in time, pay attention to adding fuel when prohibiting smoking, to avoid fire.

4. Inspection of excavator hydraulic system, observe whether there are leakage phenomena in hydraulic pipelines, operation valves, hydraulic cylinders, oil pumps and so on, and if necessary, deal with them in time to prevent potential safety hazards.            

5. There are many checking items before operation, such as checking and adjusting the crawler tension, checking the cleaning liquid level of front window, checking the cleaning air filter, checking the rotary structure, instruments and working devices, etc., and then working after confirming the excavator is normal.            

6. To start and prepare the engine, it is better to start with a small throttle and stop with a small oil. Don't suddenly stop after high-speed rotation. Generally speaking, the optimum working temperature of the engine is 90-95 C, and the optimum working temperature of the hydraulic oil is 55-85 C. Remember that the excavator should not be operated at low temperature or under overload.
