(1) Maintain proper tension of bulldozer track group
If the tension of the idler spring acts on the track pin and track bush, the outer circle of the pin and the inner circle of the pin sleeve are always subjected to high extrusion stress. When the pin and pin sleeve are in operation, the pin and pin sleeve are abraded prematurely. At the same time, the elastic force of the idler tension spring also acts on the guide axle and sleeve, resulting in large surface contact stress, which makes the guide wheel sleeve easy to be ground into a half circle and the track pitch is easy to Long, and will reduce the efficiency of mechanical transmission, waste engine power to sprocket rim and track link.
If the track assy tension is too loose, the track assy is easy to break away from the front idler and the bottom roller, and the track assy loses the correct alignment, which makes the running track fluctuate, beat and impact, resulting in abnormal wear and tear of the guide wheel and the lower roller.
Track group tension is adjusted by adding butter to the nozzle of the tensioning cylinder or releasing butter from the nozzle, referring to the standard clearance of each model. When the track pitch is extended to the point where a group of track pitches need to be removed, the meshing surface between the driving wheel tooth surface and the pin sleeve will also suffer abnormal wear. At this time, proper treatment should be carried out before the meshing condition deteriorates, such as turning the pin and pin sleeve over, replacing the pin and pin sleeve with excessive wear, replacing the assembly of the track joint, etc.
(2) Keep the idler aligned
The guide wheel misalignment has a serious impact on other parts of the walking mechanism, so adjusting the gap between the guide plate of the guide wheel and the crawler rack (correcting the misalignment) is the key to prolong the life of the walking mechanism. When adjusting, the gasket between guide plate and bearing is used to correct. If the clearance is large, remove the gasket; if the clearance is small, increase the gasket. The standard clearance is 0.5-1.0 mm and the maximum allowable clearance is 3.0 mm.
(3) Turn over the track pin and track bush at an appropriate time
In the wear process of track pin and pin sleeve, the pitch of track pitch is gradually elongated, resulting in poor meshing between sprocket rim and track bush, leading to pin sleeve damage and abnormal wear of driving wheel tooth surface, which can cause snake, slap and impact, and greatly shorten the life of walking mechanism. When the pitch can not be restored by adjusting the tension, it is necessary to turn the track pin and pin sleeve over to get the correct pitch. There are two ways to determine the turning point of the track pin and pin sleeve on site. One is to determine the time when the track pitch is lengthened by 3 mm; the other is to determine the time when the outer diameter of the pin sleeve is worn by 3 mm.
(4) timely tightening of bolts and nuts
When the bolt of the walking mechanism is loose, it is easy to break or lose, causing a series of faults. The following bolts should be inspected in daily maintenance: the installation bolts of lower rollers and top rollers, the installation bolts of driving wheel teeth, the installation bolts of track shoe, the installation bolts of track guard and the installation bolts of diagonal brace head. The tightening torque of the main bolts is referred to the specifications of each type.
(5) Timely lubrication
Lubrication of walking mechanism is very important. Many heavy wheel bearings are burnt to death, which leads to the failure of timely detection because of oil leakage. It is generally believed that there are five possible oil leaks: oil leaks from the outer side of the retaining ring to the shaft due to bad or damaged O-rings between the retaining ring and the shaft; oil leaks from the outer side of the retaining ring to the supporting wheel (lower roller, idler, sprocket); and oil leaks from the bushing to the roller due to bad O-rings between the supporting wheel (supporting wheel, guiding wheel, driving wheel) and the bushing. Oil leakage between the filling plug; oil leakage at the filling plug due to loosening of the filling plug or damage of the seat hole of the tapered plug seal; oil leakage between the cover and the roller due to the bad o-ring. Therefore, the above parts should be inspected at ordinary times, and added and replaced regularly according to the lubrication cycle of each part.
(6) Inspection of cracks
The cracks of the walking mechanism should be inspected in time and welded and repaired and strengthened in time.
