The sprocket is a profiled wheel with teeth or cogs,that mesh with a chain,track or other perforated or indented materials.The name 'sprocket' applies generally to any wheel upon which radial projections engage a chain passing over it. the sprocket and may be positioned at the front or back of the vehicle, or in some cases both. There may also be a third sprocket, elevated, driving the track.

Induction hardening

For induction hardening, a key-operation uses special design multiple teeth inductors. Hardened area overlapping is thus minimized, eliminating field failure. Differential heat treatment is also introduced on selected items, resulting in sprocket and chain longer wear life.
