The earthmover idler group is used to guide the track to rotate correctly to prevent track deviation and detailment.Most of idler groups also act as track rollers.this can increase the contact area between the track and the ground and reduce the grounding pressure.the surface of excavator idler assy is made into a smooth surface and the middle arm ring acts as the guide.and the the torus on both sides support the track link.The smaller the distance between the idler assy the nearest track roller,the better guidance.

Bimetal bushing
